Product description
Chryso®Mira 95 is a polycarboxylate-based mird-range water-reducing admixture specifically formulated to meet the needs of the concrete industry. It is developed to deliver superior water reduction across a range of dosage rates by efficiently dispersing cement agglomerates within the concrete matrix.
This superior dispersion capability results in concrete with significantly improved early and ultimate compressive strength, while maintaining near-neutral set times and producing less permeable, more durable concrete.
Meets or exceeds the requirements of ASTM C494 Type A & F
The product is manufactured across multiple facilities in both the United States and Canada, supporting regional supply and consistent performance across North American markets.
Interpretation
Based on the results from the life cycle assessment model, the life cycle impacts are strongly driven by the raw materials. The impacts of the raw materials are primarily attributed to the polycarboxylate in the product recipe. The manufacturing of Chryso®Mira 95 Admixtures also drive the Global Warming Potential. Natural gas consumption is a significant contributor to the manufacturing impacts
LCIA results are relative expressions and do not predict impacts on category endpoints, the exceeding of thresholds, safety margins or risks. EPDs are comparable only when they follow the same PCR, functional unit and system boundary. The full EPD (PDF) contains the methodology, scenario assumptions and verification statement.
