Product description
PROSOCO R-Guard® Targeted Interior Air Sealant stops air leakage from the inside. PROSOCO® Targeted Interior Air Sealant (TIAS) seals critical building envelope connections quickly from the inside of a structure. TIAS is a water-based air sealant that does not off-gas, and does not contain solvents, isocyanates, or phthalates. It seals through-wall penetrations, joints and seams in ceiling, walls or floors, mudsills, top plates, bottom plates, and many other critical connections.
Interpretation
Much of the data utilized for this Environmental Product Declaration is based on information supplied by the manufacturer. TrueNorth Collective is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the data provided by the manufacturer or any information or conclusions derived therefrom.
The cradle-to-gate impacts for the R-Guard Targeted Interior Air Sealant (TIAS) product are driven by the A1 raw material stage (65-97%) for key impact categories. A3 manufacturing constitutes the second highest driver of impacts for key impact categories.
LCIA results are relative expressions and do not predict impacts on category endpoints, the exceeding of thresholds, safety margins or risks. EPDs are comparable only when they follow the same PCR, functional unit and system boundary. The full EPD (PDF) contains the methodology, scenario assumptions and verification statement.
